Reed Smith is an interdisciplinary graphic designer with a specific interest in work that functions at the intersection between graphic design and fine art. Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, Reed grew up sustaining an art practice before moving to New York to begin a career in Project Management. After some time, Reed began taking graphic design night classes at the Pratt Institute to re-engage his creative practice. This course load led him to pursuing his master’s degree from Cranbrook Academy of Art’s 2D Design department, which he completed May of 2023.
